Roll a six-sided die online
Use this roller when a game calls for one ordinary six-sided die. Press Roll die or select the die itself. The face and the number below it show the result, from 1 to 6. You can roll again as often as you need. Each roll stands on its own, so getting the same number twice in a row is possible.
Keep track of recent rolls
The large die shows your latest roll. The smaller dice under Previous rolls show up to five earlier results, with the newest on the left. Total rolls counts every roll since you opened the page or last cleared it, even after older results disappear from the short history. Select Clear rolls to reset the result, history, and count. Refreshing the page also starts a new session.
The sound checkbox controls the rolling sound. Turn it off if you're playing somewhere quiet. It does not affect the result.
When one die is enough
A single die works for board game moves, choosing among six options, and simple classroom probability exercises. For example, label six activities from 1 to 6, then roll to choose one. If a game asks for two dice, roll twice and add the two results. The previous-roll display can help you check the first number before adding.
