Your teams
Check a name to keep that person on their current team when you reshuffle. Choose Generate teams to apply edits and start a fresh draw.

Paste your roster with one participant per line. Choose Number of teams when you know how many groups you need, or Maximum people per team when you have a limit for each group. Press Generate teams, then use Copy teams to share the assignments in a chat or document.
Blank lines are ignored. If two people have the same name, you can add a last initial to tell them apart. Each line with a name counts as one participant.
How Uneven Numbers Are Split
Teams differ in size by at most one person. For example, 11 people split into three teams gives you groups of 4, 4, and 3. With a maximum of three people per team, those same 11 people split into four teams of 3, 3, 3, and 2.
Keep a Player on Their Team
After generating teams, check the box next to a player’s name to lock them to their current team. When you press Reshuffle teams, locked players stay put and everyone else fills the open spots at random. Uncheck a player to include them in the next shuffle.
Try this example checkbox. It works independently of your generated teams.
The generator processes names in your browser. For more game-night tools, try Truth or Dare or use the Dice Roller to decide which team goes first.
